DoIT
A minimal, local-first task environment built natively with Tauri and Rust. Zero accounts. Zero tracking. Just instant markdown / text note collection structured precisely into an organic bento grid desktop canvas.

Was tired of shifting tabs or having shared tabs and improper categorization or bloat, wanted something fast and easy to note my bug patches, feature implementation requests etc.
Introduction
Hello there -
It's Open Source
DoIT is an open-source tool. I felt like maybe it would help others who just don't wish to bother paying for yet another tool and just wanted a super simple quick note taker that's just there when they need it.
Future Plans
For now I just needed the tool hence I made it, however there are plans for a few more features eventually. You could send me a mail / dm in X or create a report in Github, I'll check it out

DoIT does not maintain cloud databases or remote user authentication systems. Every note you create compiles and saves instantly as an autonomous Markdown (.md) text file inside a custom directory path of your choice, which can be modified seamlessly via your local Settings panel.
